A repaired mechanical seal gives equal service of new mechanical seals at a substantial savings. We are capable of repairing any manufacturer’s seal to OEM specifications. With our lapping facilities and extensive inventory, we are able to repair almost any size and type of mechanical seal on today’s market, offering one of the quickest deliveries available.
We are capable of manufacturing any competitive brand's mechanical seal or mechanical seal part. If your mechanical seal is deemed non-repairable we can build you a new one at a cost much lower than your paying now. We offer free estimates with any inquiry.
All WSC repaired mechanical seals are:
Cleaned or sandblasted, holes tapped, all parts inspected, grind and lap stationary and rotating faces (replaced if necessary), new springs, new elastomers, new set screws, spacers, assembled, pressure tested, and shipped.
All seal faces are lapped within 1-2 helium lightbands, which is better than the industry standard of 3-5 lightbands.
Tungsten and Silicon Carbide Upgrades
Mechanical Seals sent in for repair can also be upgraded by replacing the stationary or rotating faces with tungsten or silicon carbide mechanical seal faces. Tungsten and silicon carbide add durability and longevity to your mechanical seal. Upgrading a seal is going to cost you less than buying a new one and offer supperior performace compared to a mechanical seal with the standard carbon and ceramic seal faces.
